Default What could have caused this? Whats my options?

Went to start my truck sat. morning and it would not start. I tested my FICM and it tested bad, dropped all the way down to 20 when key was turned on then back to 48 when injectors quit buzzing. I decided to pull it off and this is what i found. Everything Ive seen and read seems to say the other computer chip is what goes bad. Just curious if anyone know what could have caused this? Im looking at the Bullet proof diesel replacement.I already have their oil cooler and egr delete. But other than that its a stock truck. I did change the oil friday evening and while i was doing that i cleaned the battery terminals they were a little corroded. Any help is appreciated.

weak batteries/charging system can shorten the life of a ficm.
