You probably have 3.54's with 37's and towing you would want to run 4.10's more than likely.

put 4.10's on it, you will probably keep the mpg by using the engine more efficiently in the power band... i.e. not lugging or running it pre-boost so much. depending on other mods etc. you may lose a bit o' smoke on take off = better mpg...

to add:

put 4.10's on it, with tires that big(37's), you will probably keep the mpg by using the engine more efficiently in the power band... i.e. not lugging or running it pre-boost so much. depending on other mods etc. you may lose a bit o' smoke on take off = better mpg...

4.10's help fight off the wind resistance at higher speed on lifted trucks with big tires... it just equalizes the bigger tires gear reduction(right word??) factor. 4.10 with bigger tires equals 3.54 with smaller tires, then your only dealing with the excess unsprung weight.
