i have a core 03 5.9 and im wondering how much it is worth, i am trying to clean out my garage and i need the money for a new driveshaft and a rebuild kit for my transfer case.

depends on whats wrong with it! But 500 to 1000. should be in the range!

 

i looked around online and there were a few on ebay that were selling for $1,900 but it was complete minus the ECM. mine is only missing the pushrods and rockers

 

So get a set of rods and rockers and sell it as a running engine! Why was it pulled? 2000 for a running 5.9 is easy!

 

i got it from a local shop (they bought it so they could have a core) i got its so i could rebuild it and do a weekend swap but it ended up having a bent crank so i went ahead and pulled my motor and rebuilt it. but now the shop is out of business and i have an extra motor taking up space.

 

Bad for them good for you! So if it's a basket case with a bent crank your back to 500 to a 1000. depending on who really needs it! Free money!
