Default Exhaust system recommendations needed

I am looking for a more quiet exhaust system that will not negatively hurt performance or mileage if there is such system out there. I would like to be able to enjoy the sound system i while the truck is running in my 98 dodge 2500 5.9 diesel !

I too am interested. I don't want my truck to be noisy, but after removing the silencer ring in my turbo and doing the 6637 filter conversion I am convinced that the next step must be exhaust. No significant change in turbo noise. That tells me that the OEM exhaust is restricting the flow. Since the 6637 filer should allow for unrestricted air intake. But I do not want loud exhaust. I use my truck for hunting, plus I don't need exhaust noise to improve my manhood. Are the recommendations the same as you made earlier? Is this system within the abilities of the average guy to install without a hoist or welder?
