Default P0605?

Ok, I thought this wasn't a big deal but now I'm not so sure. Can someone verify that P0605 is the transmission control module and how that effects a 6 speed?

Oh yeah, smarty and comp on board.

Thanks in advance BTW.

Or is it an ECM ROM failure?

ok so what does that mean?

Nevermind. It's a 602 and that's the code set by the smarty, correct.

my loppy idle is back.

I have been playing with my comp to try and reduce the smoke even more and I'm finding that setting the smarty on 4 and the comp on 1x4 gives ok results but this is likely where the idle thing has come from - too much timing (although the first time it was pretty much stock except for sticks) and then today I set it to 2x1 and 3x2 just to see. 3x2 works well but I'm leaning back to 2x1.

The truck has gobs of power, hits 31 pounds boost and 1250 F easily enough.

hmmmmmm are there any updated software for the smarty to help this? i know RSWORDS had to reflash his smarty to a different to counteract the excessive timing he had..... i think he went with the aftermarket injectors/stock turbo program..... hopefully he'll chime in..... but that's all he's got... he ain't stackin'

I use the stack to control smoke, not to make it.

My 2002 HO with my stock turbo and 150HP injectors smokes in stock form. No smarty and just the comp and it will not smoke if I use 1x1 or 2x1. Any higher and it smokes. If I run the smarty on 2 it hardly smokes but on 4 where it is now I have to keep my foot out of it.

I know my problem is lack of air in and I really want to build a set of twins but I also need the money for that as well.

PS: I have the latest smarty DL for a 2nd gen. (from mads website anyway).
