Default 47re Problems.

Recently installed another 47re from a 2001 into my 1999. It now has the transmission temp light on and the O/D off. I read this is due to the tranny temp sensor since they changed the design of them from a NTC to PTC. Do i need to change the overdrive and lock up selenoid also? Now heres the other question. The tranny from the 2001 I installed has an aftermarket BD Diesel valve body in it. Is the harness for this valve body the same as the stock harness from my 99 so when i switch the temp sensor the harness will also change as easy? Thanks.
