Default EJWA vs TST Tuners

Hey guys, Im mainly tryin to figure out what kind of experiences you guys are having with theres programmers. Ive heard that the TST PM3 or the TST PM3 COMP does not put out as much for an HO truck then a SO, is this the same with the EJWA? Also if you guys with the EJWA's HOT unlocks could tell me what kinda numbers the hot unlocks put out, im just trying to see if the hot is worth it.... So any help or input would be greatly appreciated, and it seems that the TST programmers are alittle outdated and people dont use them as much but im always up for trying out the little guys or oddballs. Im just trying to get as much info and opinions as i can, Tanks as always guys!!

~Grizz

P.S. - if there are any other suggestions you guys have im more then happy to hear them!
just looking for some of the adjustable big power tunes.

Somewhere, in one of my Edge manuals, I saw the HOT turns thing up to 134HP compared to 120HP. I'm not familiar with the TST line up, as I haven't had a good reason to go away from Edge.

Have you considered the Edge Comp, or are you looking for a all-in-one set up with gauges, etc?

i cant get tst anymore and dont know how much support is out there if you have trouble. if you already have gauges the comp is a good way to go like raw said. the juice with att is a good way to go to get gauges.

The Hot unlock code produces the same amount of hp that level 5 does the only difference is it fuels to 3200 rpm instead of 2700 rpm's.

That is what I have always heard, a different torque curve. Then I saw in my manual that it was 134HP when unlocked. I don't have the picture anymore, and it may have been a miss print, but I know I saw it.
After all, weasels do have excellent eyesight!

well i could go either way but i would like something digital so that way it can be kinda hidden and look somewhat stock from the outside of the truck usually when u see all the guages on the pillar something is up.... and from what i see TST PM3 is still made and the site is still up but like i said i wasnt sure if the power of the edge would change from a SO motor to a HO like apparently the TST pm3 does... and also isnt the EJWA basically a comp box with just a fancey digital guage or is the software and programming actually different?

The HO pumps won't gain as much as an SO pump. The programming is the same on both the Edge J/a and the comp. The Edge J/A has some cool features that the comp doesn't like turbo timer and back down values. I vote Edge J/A it sounds like a good fit for you.
