Default Another ECM question
I have a 99 with the stick trans and I have found an ECM for the same year but its for an automatic truck. Can an auto trans ECM be reprogramed for a stick trans?

yes it can but you'll have to take it to a cummins dealership or mail it out. my 02 had the salt damage on the ecm so i got one out of an 01 ho. took it to the cummins dealership and they reprogrammed it for $120
