I like the way my homemade one looks compared to the over priced kits. Plus it has a bigger filter.

I don't think you get the point, you can make one just like it and shoot nitrous with it. An air filter does not even attach to the intake to the one I linked. ???????????? You run air through the intercooler first!

The link might not work, but if you take 2 seconds to type the website in it brings it right up. I built mine with 2 silicone boots, clamps, 4" exhaust pipe, a BHAF, and a heat sheild for less than $100. Air goes to the filter before intercooler, but the intake manifold is not the same as an intake. So you should figure out what your saying before running your mouth to people who make sense. Just my opinion.

Nevermind you obviously don't understand engineering enough to figure out the benefits.

I do. But if he is talking about a cold air intake your posts are irrelevant. That intake you posted is cool, but if he is looking for a Cold air intake then it is not the answer to what was asked. So why talk the trash you did to people who are helping him, what you posted is a different intake than asked about?
If he want a intake plate than he should specify. Not say intake. Don't get butt hurt.

I know extra posting but a intake is what sucks the air in, intake plate is what is after the intake, turbo, and intercooler. Plus did he ask about nitrous? BTW with a VE the giant intake plate is not really needed. If he wants a intake plate then get over 700hp and maybe it will help like a p-pumps power. A dual intake plate will cool the cylinders just fine for less.

If you are talking pre-turbo and don't want to make one , check out ASA Modified. If after intercooler check out Tim's Cooler Tubz or M&H Inc. hope that helps
