I have a 1995 12 valve and im not sure how to change the fuel filter. I know its a screw on but what connects to the bottom of it and how do i disconnect it?

 

thats a wire and it will on plug 6 to 8 inches or so under the filter. unplug that unscrew the filter and drain the fuel. make sure to use the new gaskets. you can either refill the filter with fuel then screw it back on or screw it back on dry and push the primer 50 or so times and it should fire right up. hope this helps.

 

it is water sensor unplug the pigtail and just unscrew it but be careful they like to split if it has any age on it
