did you try re loading another tune on the quadzilla website? if you loaded one of the beta tunes they are heavy on fuel and can cause surging. if all else fails call customer service they are pretty good, i called them when i had problems downloading a new tune to it and they took care of me and sent me email with step by step instructions with in 15 minutes. in order to download new tunes to your box you do need a mini usb cord though, i picked mine up at best buy for 13 dollars, im sure radio shack has them too and maybe even wal mart.

I had that problem to, do a search for adrenaline tunes in the forums. There is alot of info in here, I loaded the comp tune for mine and am playing around with the custom settings, I have yet to surge.

go to quadzillapower.com scroll down the page a little and you will see a yellow tab on the left hand side that says usb updates and click on it and select your adrenaline for your year dodge cummins. you can choose the 1000 tunes, 2000 tunes or beta tunes. i would try and stay away from the beta tunes because some of them can hurt your motor and tranny if your not careful. but in order to download any tunes you need the usb cord to connect to your tuner. you download what ever you tune you want then click on it when it finishes downloading. a small window that says quadzilla will pop up. at that time you can connect your programmer to your usb port on your computer. then press get info from module. when it recognizes the programmer and says module found then click the button that says update module. then it will have say something like loading new program and when it says finished loading then you can disconnect your programmer and connect back up to your truck.

you connect the usb cord to the actual programmer box, make sure you read the instructions, because some of the tunes require you to plug in and update your display i think. if your looking for lots of power and black smoke with out surging of your turbo or breaking too much stuff i would recommend the 3000 tune which is under beta tunes. if you want something with power but dont want a lot of black smoke then i would recommend one of the 2000 tunes. all the 2000 tunes have the same amount of power. you download whatever tune suits your needs. like right now were i live in the north east its pretty cold so i downloaded the 2004 tune which runs the truck in warm up mode till it reaches 170 degrees and it also has high idle so when i let the truck warm up in the morning it doesnt cause cylinder wash from all the fuel not being burnt while truck is at idle. but in the summer time when its warmer i like to run the 3000 tune because i dont need to let truck warm up as long and i like the extra power.
