where is the star wheel cover onth p pumps?

 

the star wheel cover is on the afc. there is a screw in top of the afc and once you unscrew that, you will see in the hole, the star wheel. if you are still confused, look up "cummins star wheel" on google images and you should be able to tell from the pictures.

does that give more hp? and how much do i need to turn it?

 

gives you more fuel. More fuel = more hp, but its fuel under boost. The star wheel adjusts the tension on the spring.

i tried to adjust my starwheel it will not turn towards the motor it only turns away from the motor am i doing something wrong?

 

it will bottom out against the housing when it is fully forward

 

oh, well my truck doesnt smoke or anything i thought when it was fully adjusted it would roll out smoke and have more power
