Hey guys... I'm new around here so sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Recently, I have been thinking about trading in my hemi to upgrade to a cummins. I like the 2nd gens and they are closer to my price range.

I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what to look out for, etc.

Here is one truck I have had my eye on...

These are words I live by, if it is owned by a young kid and has been modified don't buy it.

That being said it is your money. Check to makes sure it doesn't have a 53 block, the number 53 will be stamped into the passenger side of the block IIRC. Check for excessive blow by, check for codes (scanner may be needed), just go over the entire truck preferably with a trusted mechanic if you know one. Make sure you drive it.
