My dad has a 2001 dodge 3500, he was driving home and said the radio started going crazy like turning on and off and switching channels on its own then the truck shut off and now wont start but will crank i was just wondering where to start looking for the problem.

 

Check all fuses and battery connections. Also do a code dump with the key trick to check for codes.

How much fuel is in the tank? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

 

The passenger side battery ground came off and somethin grounded out on the drivers side battery positive terminal and melted it pretty good but truck is running now. Junk *** dodge wiring and people running random stuff right off of the battery i dont get it

 

Sounds like you need a maintenance program.

 

I thought batteries where the culprit in your problem, amazing how many problems stem from battery issues. Glad you got it fixed.
