Default Bigger lines and tubes

I was looking at putting bigger lines and tubes on my truck. Right now they are stock. Are they really needed? Also, I have heard that with an automatic I cannot run any bigger than .084 due to driveability issues. Is this true? Any info is appreciated!

Nothing wrong with stock tubes, you can exceed 600HP with them. Larger lines are known to add lope to the engine, and could cause low RPM losses.

Thank you! I didn't know how far you could take the stock injection lines. I don't think that I would be happy with low RPM losses.
