Default just a couple of questions

Hey guys i am just looking to make sure on some info new to the diesel scene. I hear some 2nd gens need spacers to run the 3rd gen wheels is that true for my 96 or just 98 and up. Second what is the hose hanging down next to my oil pan i believe a blow by hose are something i am not sure. And also kinda of confused on my rear end. I have the indentions are holes where the axle housings were supposed to be welded to the differential housing but looked like it dont leak but i noticed silicone by it and pulled it off and no holes are nothing not sure. Maybe all the fluid leaked out is that possible im going stick my finger in there today. What kind of fluid do you suggest to put in there.

That is your blow by tube. If you look at some pulling tractor videos, you will see a white liquidy smoky stuff coming out from under a few. That is blow by.
