Default Need quick info on dual disc clutch

Is the Valair (NMU70NV56DDSN) 650hp rated clutch able to hold 750hp. Or just get the south bend 750hp. Diaphragm style pressure plate make it for easier peddle pressure?.

If its rated 650 then I wouldn't go over that. Definitely do the 750 and yes the diaphragm pressure plate will be easier to disengage because there is usually not as much plate load as there is on the lever style pressure plates.

My truck truck is far from 750 horse but maybe someday haha. Its just that I had heard the valair rated for 650hp can really hold up to 750 horse but I wasent sure because I see on south bends dual disc it says its rated for 650-750hp, so I got thinking that maybe valairs could actually hold up to 750?
