Default Best winter additives/engine warmers

Was just wondering what everyone on here thought were the best diesel fuel additives and what people had the best luck with as far as engine warmers in the winter in addition to the stock block heaters (coolant heaters, oil pan heaters etc). Thanks!

Have a 2007 Cummins 5.9L six speed manual

Run an over the counter diesel anti-gel like Power Service.

Unless you live in the far north, in most of the lower 48 you don't need anything to cold start, and definitely nothing more than the OE block heater. I've cold started to -25*F without any issues...it wasn't happy, but it started just fine.

I would avoid kerosene, its too dry for the CRD...
