im lookin for 4" straight pipe kits for my first gen. i want that cummins tone as loud as i can get. from my lookin i have seen a 4" diamond eye kit from tvdiesel for 269. and on pupedieselpower.com they offer the 4" diamond eye kit for 369. my question is why is there 100 dollars difference? is there any lack of quality in the cheaper version from tvdiesel? also which brand is the loudest thanks

Nope same kit. Autoparts stores n such have a really high markup on parts. TV diesel probably just wants the sales more then anything n doesn't mark em up so high. An ex friend of mine bought the kit from TV for his 90 n it fit great.

 

pure diesel power has the cheapiest kit i have seen. And they are good about cheap shipping that gets to you asap! of and you can buy the sections if you want and build it yourself

 

4inch back to 6in stack is the loudest it will get. To loud if you ask me I cant wait to get the diamond eye kit Im pretty sick of the drone

 

You have not heard drone until you have a sub turned up!

 

I hated my straight pipe's drone, love the smooth sound of the straight flow through muffler. The diamond eye is 4" turbo back less than $300 shipped from TVdiesel.com.

Personally I think the stock 3 inch with muffler delete is the loudest, but the 4 inch straight will serve you better. IMO.

 

that was the exact setup on it when i bought it stock from downpipe to tailpipe with muffler deleted and it wasnt loud at all
