i just bought some ebay hids and they arent working so im asking if anyone has bought them and they actually work i would appreciate any help

 

I bought mine off ebay, but I did a lot of research before I purchased mine. They have been working great for 4 years now.

Do they flicker or just don't turn on at all? Unless you got bi xenon ones the hi beams won't work, only the low beam.

 

Did you get the controller box too or just the bulbs?

 

Yeah whay Bryce said, you have to have the ballast/ignitors for them to work, the bulbs by themselves won't work.

 

Hey H.R.D. What kind of HID lights you have?

 

it came with two bulbs and two chrome box things that plug into the stock harness if i plug one hid in one side and a stock bulb in the other both will light up but if i plug the hids and boxes in both side neither will light up and my brights symbol is on in the cab

 

Sounds like a problem inside the ballast themselves. I would return them. Or at least try to figure out which ballast is jacked, by plugging them in on one side at a time. See if one box only works or if they both do on one side of the headlights. Hope that makes sense....

So both ballast work?
