Default What Tuner Now!

well i have a edge ez right now but after loosing a couple street races and feelen i need more horsepower, i think its time to get bigger chip. There is really three chips i am looking at now; smarty, edge juice, and quadzilla. Which one do you guys think makes the best power and best fuel economy.

I have an Edge juice and am pretty happy with it. You may want to consider bigger injectors or a methanol injection kit instead as they would be cheaper if you can do install. You can do 85hp injectors without having to upgrade anything else. If you go bigger than 85 you would have to keep a close eye on egts and would need to consider upgrading the turbo to keep egts in check as well as tranny and torque converter upgrades.

Edge Comp, Quadzilla Adrenaline or Edge CS/CTS.

Also if you go bigger than 85hp injectors you could add the methanol injection too as the meth will decrease egts by 200 deg. I just dont think you'll be too happy spending 800+ on another tuner when you'll prob only get another 40-80hp out of it.

Those should be good but you'll need to get a pyrometer, if you don't already have one, so you can keep an eye on your egts when you're towing or at wot. High egts even for short periods of time can damage the turbo and the engine. Also do a little research on those 8 holes. I seem to remember reading to get 7 holes. But don't take my word for it do your research and get some other opinions.
