fuel gauge not working.how do you test both of these? i tested the fuel sending unit with ohms and it read 4ohms all the way up and 117 all the down. i plugged it back in and moved the float up and down while my girlfriend watched the gauge and it didnt move. i checked the dark blue wire with the white stripe from the plug to thee firewall and it has current all the way there. why else would my fuel gauge be buried on E? i bought the truck with it not working.

 

Could possibly be in the cluster
