ok after i put inmy high performace clutch i noticed my tranny makes a strange growling noise at low rpms... i have read that you can make it quit by putting in about an extra quort of tranny fluid? any one fixed this before? this noise is not when the clutch is in a nutrual stait. this is when i am going at any speed 1 through 6 gears at low rpm.

 

Normally, the extra quart of fluid is to help lubrication. I overfill mine until it runs out the top PTO cover bolt hole. If your clutch is a dual disc, at low RPM it may cause a bit of growl. I have a SB dual disc and it doesn't like to be lugged. Give Valair a call, they can probably help you out.

 

ok sounds good and i have the single disk btw. but im going to fill up to the pto and see if that changes any thing.
