Mechanical fuel pressure/isolater
I finally got in my new ISSPRO ev1 gauges. Fuel press/boost/egt. Ive got them wored and hooked up minus the fuel pressure isolater. Problem is my Fass bypasses my fuel filter where they say to put a snubber. Where am i supposed to tap into to get a reading? preferably closer to the IP the better.
We have a "G" port on our pumps to tap the gauge directly into or Moparman1973 has a setup on how he installed his Mopar1973Man's Dodge Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel Forum - NEW Guy help please - Page 2
so the "g" fitting on the Fass is where i need to supply from? And then just run a line up to the isolator? Wouldn't it be better to get a pressure reading from somewhere closer to the VP to be more accurate? The fass came with an elbow that hooks into the VP. I can put a picture up if needed.
Are you still using the factory banjo bolt for supply to the VP44? If so, you could do 2 things. Buy a tapped banjo bolt, or try to tap yours. It's an excellent place for a gauge.

Im using the elbow supplied with the Fass system and theres not a way to tap through that. I suppose i just need a tapped banjo than
Thanks for all the help

And actually quick to add. I have heard its a good idea to run braided fuel line up to the isolator? is that true. or can i just use the tubing supplied with my ISSPRO gauges?
