Hey guys, NEWBIE POSTER HERE

Took my V10 out this year and replanted a 6BT 89' In Her.
Still Running my Ford 4R100, Want any details? Just Shoot me a message, I Did every stitch myself.

I NEED HELP GUYS!!!

Engine was an 89' Non-Cooler 12v. I bought It on a stand, for $1000!!!
I Made an Innercooler for it, works great,
Turbo is Super small but in perfect shape, this truck was just supposed to be my Toy/ Occasional Trailer hauler. So MPG's Were more what i was going for.

Anyhow, its ALWAYS Skipped..... Just a quiet miss,
since the day I fired it up. tried bleeding the lines a million times, figured out it had one bad injector sor sprung for some Brand New 40hp Injectors from Pensicola Diesel. $230!!!

STILL SKIPPING/MISSING!!!!

Recently noticed it was MAKING OIL?!?!

Obviously a Fuel Leak.
Anyway This Is my first Diesel, and ITS FOR SALE so, I Realy need to fix it.

Any thoughts on the SKIPPING/ Missing?
How about the Leak/ Fuel in oil??

Thanks Guys. You ROCK!!!:rocking:

Could be the mechanical lift pump on the block leaking into the crankcase. Seen it on a friends truck he actually filled the block completley in about 10 minutes when it let loose and poured all the fuel in there. That could be sucking air into the lines and causing a slight miss. I would say to replace the lift pump.

Pensacola injectors are known to be junk. That could be the source of your "extra oil".

I would look at the fuel lines for the miss. Maybe the injectors or the pump?

Replace the lift pump on the drivers side of the block. Its a diaphragm pump and over time diaphragm get brittle and breaks which let fuel go directly into the crankcase. The VE will pull fuel through a bad pump but you can burn it up quickly.

As usual the NEWB forgot FULL details....:argh:
I sprung for the $80 NAPA Lift pump when I dropped the Motor In.
Is It possible that its Bad already....2-3000 miles?

As for the Injectors....Your prbly right about them being Junk, BUT it was gaining oil two weeks ago when I replaced the stock ones.

Could the pump be leaking onto the Timing cover?:s:

Thanks Guys. :c:

Thanks for the PM on the pump man,

Heres another thing.... When I was bleeding the lines with the new Injectors installed, The motor noise changed when I cracked 5 of the 6 Lines. But no difference when I crack #3 ????:scare2:

Strange?!? especially with NEW Injectors.

Is It possible to loose compression at ONE set of rings and not the rest???

I think I may have gotten SCREWED when I bought this Engine :dang:
Its skipped since I first started it.......
