I think I posted that right. Anyway I just heard about it. I have been running Amsoil and hear that Redline shifts better. What's your thought.
Thanks

Good question. Maybe go online and find out if it's a class VI base stock.

Which Redline did you get? Is it GL4 or GL 5 rated?

I wouldnt use anything but Castrol Syntorque in a NV4500.

5 or 6 speed? Makes a big difference.

Johnny Z 04-27-2009 09:43 PM

:c:GL-4 as specified on the side plateof the tranny. 5 speed. gonna give it a try:c:
hope i don't get a :ouch:

Dr. Evil 04-28-2009 12:00 AM

OK, if its GL-4 you should be ok.

Some of the fluids that are different than the OEM fluid tend to destroy the syncros.

kipo 04-28-2009 12:58 AM

what do you use in a six speed?

Johnny Z 04-28-2009 10:12 PM

:c:havent changed the fluid yet. ill let ya know how it works.:c:
