what's your thoughts on 2cyl oil n my 2015 CTD
I been reading on the 2cyl ol in older trucks with good results and i was wondering about my 2015 Dodge?
keeping things lubed up sounds great. All post will be great!!!! |
i would not run it in a non deleted truck:hellox:

Oh HELL no bro!:td: That will wreak havoc on your exhaust emissions system.

X 3 Good Question though!

I have no first hand experience as I've never owned or even driven a common rail. In reading up about it for my 24v I've seen many times that common rails don't like 2 cycle oil, ATF, or any of the other boot leg hillbilly redneckery tricks. Due to the much higher injection pressure they're a lot more finicky when it comes to additives.

Ive been running 2-stroke tcw-3 oil in my 06 CTD for over 154k miles with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I have always used 16-20 ounces per tankful. My engine runs very well with it whether Im towing heavy or running empty.

Noooo, I would be afraid of contaminating your DPF/DOC!! :scare2:
