I have airdog 150 and my pressure start going down. Ended up reaching 5 lb normally ran about 17-19 lb. So I changed fuel filter and the pressure came back up to 15-17 walked in store and came back out started truck up and pressure was back down.. any ideas?? something to do with water seperator maybe?

have you drained it
|
yes i took both filters off put anoter new fuel filter on today drained the water seperator and cleaned it as well.. still pressure down.. anyone ever heard of an edge fuel sending unit going bad maybe?

I have a new AirDog and I'm working on finding a fix for the same problem with my AD 165 losing bressure the longer I have it running. The idiot light and a mechanical gauge both saying below 5 psi to the injector pump. Are you flowing thru or around the stock filter?
|
I am totally bypassed from stock filter. just running the airdog setup. Ive done everything. thought airdog supposed to be so great only had mine less than 6 month. guess ill get to try out their lifetime warrenty setup maybe
|
Well mine isn't fixed yet, but the people at AirDog and I are working on it. Just as soon as more parts arrive and I find something that works, or doesn't work, I will let everyone know what it took to get my rig back on the road and dependable. I've only used mine about a 1/4 of a tank worth.

I have called airdog 4 times.. always get sent to voicemail. I leave message and my number for them to call back and still have yet to ever get a call back.. :td:
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- welp I should appologize to airdog.. all the crying I did about my pressure and it was okay all along, my fuel pressure sending unit for edge must be bad, I built a homemade pressure gauge and it was reading good. Still not to pleased with airdog customer service though :humm: |
thats good man... i have never had an issue with airdog yet... im running 40psi through mine... if it ever arises again they should have cell phones listed on there
|
On mine I'm running one of the idiot lights inside to the A post and under the hood I have a mechanical gauge in line just before the VP, they both say the same thing. The truck starts with 20 psi and cruse at 14 psi, for about 20-30 minutes, then they both say the same thing, very low pressure. The pressure will drop to 0-2 psi at idle.:argh:
