Anyone here know anything about Pulling Tractors?
I'm talking like farm stock (or a class similar to that). Where the tractors look and behave stock but you can tell they've got just a little work (pump timing, injectors, etc) done to them.
I'm thinking about getting into it. I'll post a link below, but if you view it you have to promise not to steal it. It's a either '66 or '67 J.I. Case 1030. Comes stock with like a little over 100 hp. It's rough, but supposedly driveable and the guy only wants $3995! Figured it would make a nice little winter project. Here are my concerns -Are case tractors any good for pulling? Always see IH and JD, maybe a few Fords, but never Case? -These tractors came without a turbo. Under general rules, would I be able to put on one it? -Do they make performance injectors and other injection related equipment for these tractors? Thanks for reading, and hopefully someone can help me out. J I CASE 1030 100 HP to 174 HP For Sale At TractorHouse.com |
