I dont have one anymore , dad has a massy i use and i hate it , Damn Strait Down clutch , after about 30 mins im cripled when i get off , I spent Daylight to Dark many many days on the Deere just fine , 1/2 hour on the massy and im a mess :ouch:

DuramaxBen 08-29-2008 08:05 AM

Yeah Massey isn't the greatest for clutches. They are pretty touchy to.That is why I am a Ford New Holland man.Simplicity POWER and great Fuel Economy!

Well the only diesel we have is an Allis 190xt w/ 180 engine. But I do have a handful of older gas burners. Farmall 400 w/ 2ME picker, Farmall B, Farmall C, Deere 4020 gas, and a Deere LA. I'm trying to get my hands on one of grandpa's old tractors .. Farmall 826 Gold Demonstrator.

Woody35 09-15-2008 06:26 PM

i love the clutch on the john deere LA that my club owns. doesnt jump like my tractor in 1st gear but i make up for that in the power department

DuramaxBen 09-19-2008 09:39 PM

I drove my neighbors 1486 IH tractor and I hate the torque Amplifier! Its too jumpy it just lifts the front end off the ground when you shift it.Speedy thing though.I was fixing its A/c for him and I drove it home. The Ford tractors Dual Power is much better it jumps a whole lot less.

it probablt cow corn. for high moisture corn or corn silage to feed the dairy cows. most dairies around here grow their own food and only buy some soy or certain grain.

7.3 Cowboy 12-16-2008 07:25 PM

At least dmaxben knows what kinda tractor to run.

Is that sarcasm?I DESPISE John Deere tractors and combines!I only will run BLUE tractors FORD tractors are the only thing I will run.All the other brands are just wanna be's.Blue is powerfull and efficient 2-4gallon per hour better doing the same jobs as the other brands.

michaelr73 01-06-2009 08:06 PM

yeah i love me some good old ford power. i work at a cih/nh dealer and love a good blue tractor.

DuramaxBen 01-10-2009 02:11 PM

I work at a Former Ford tractor dealership. The owner had to switch to AGCO due to NH wanted him to get a new shop a bigger one and he told them don't tell me how to run my business. So he had to become an AGCO dealer but we still work on the good old Blue ones once in a while. Most of the Blue tractors are out doing the field work where they are supposed to be.

NHTech 02-13-2009 11:47 PM
