I've seen this set up for front forks/loaders and backhoe attachments... but not for an 8N. But, I'll bet that someone made one over the past 70 years of that tractors life.

I've never seen or used them with anything more than a shredder.

Don't know what project you need this for but a real backhoe or even one a those Miny Mite small backhoes will do as much in a day as you would do with this 8N in a week. Just rent one and be done with it. This wouldn't be any cheap venture even if you built the system to find an attachment for your tractor.

Ok here is what you do.GO to TractorData.com - information on all makes and models of tractors and go under agriculture tractors Ford then look for the 8N.In the information will be websites about the 8N.Including Smithspage which is really great for looking up the 8N.Otherwise post this same thing on Antique Tractors - Yesterday's Tractors : Antique Tractor Headquarters or ask me to do it for you as I have an account over there.
