on xtreme diesel they have a comprssor wheel called a x wheel i think im jw wats the benefits? stock injectors never had a chip cold air intake and stock exhaust just muffler delete

Its not a performance upgrade, its a fix for surge. If you dont have issues with surge the factory wheel moves more air.

can you explain exactly what surge means. dont make fun im new in the diesel world. LOL.

it sounds like a train going up a hill, sounds like a constant blow off valve i guess you could say? kind of hard to explain, but its not good when it does it, i did a ported housing on mine and it did just fine

What causes surge, do they all do it or only some, or is it when you start upgrading?
