ATS housing does one thing and one thing only, it stops surge... Compressor wheel tries to do one thing, stop surge. Both are not "performance upgrades" on the stock turbo.

The compressor wheel flows LESS air then the stock one, but moves it up in the range to help stop surge.

The ATS housing just adds porting to help stop surge or give the air somewhere to go, again, does not help flow anymore.

Sounds to me like you have a boost leak somewhere, be it up pipes or in the intercooler piping. You should be seeing 25 or so, but it depends on your elevation.

i do have an exhaust leak that i need to fix, and i'm around 6,000 ft.

what if i got a bigger one? like a 1.00 or 1.15 or something like that? i'm just tryin to get by until i do my motor rebuild towards the end of this summer

larger exhaust housing is always a good thing.

The 1.00 would work good for you at your elevation!

ok, and would it be best to keep the wastegate on it? i have heard of a few taking it off and it helping a little bit, i don't see how it would help but thats just me?

You can unplug the red line on the wastegate canister. This keeps the wastegate from opening I think so you might see a tad more psi.

If the 1.00 housing you get has a wastegate you need to hook it up to something, be it the factory housing or a turbomaster wastegate controler...

i have unplugged that litte red wire, still only see an average of 20, sometimes i see up to about 21 to 22 but not very often
