looking for advise on injectors

I will be upgrading my 2000 7.3 soon looking for better towing while towing our 38ft 12K lbs fifth wheel camper around western ND, SD and throughout WY and the hills and mountains in those areas while out spiking the EGT's. The plan is upgraded turbo, new up pipes, samwyse (or looking for other options) stage 1 transmission, hydra programmer and injectors along with new glow plugs and wiring harness. I was thinking of 180/30 injectors for the upgrade and the performance I am looking for. I have also been told that 200-205/30 injectors would work great for what I am looking for. I am wondering if the bigger injectors would cause higher EGT's pulling some of the uphill grades that we travel.

thanks in advance for the help and advice,

Jim

if you are going to be doing alot of towing i would stick with some 180/80s. they will do everything you want and should keep temps more manageable at that kind of altitude

Don't rule out a good water/ meth kit to aid in keeping egt's in check, as well as offering ponies to aid in towing. You can also just run plain distilled water to keep egts in check if ya want. Options are a good thing...….:yeah:

thanks for the replies. I have talked with a couple people about what i have planned for upgrades. the turbo is now something that might change. might do an overhaul and upgrade to the stock turbo with a new wheel and a 1.0 a/r housing. i am thinking about the KC wheel and their 1.0 a/r housing. also saw they have a compressor side with wheel and goodies. might just do all of that since their stage one is currently sold out. i really do like the stageII KC38R turbo though.
