Just add some propane/Nos if u want to increase bottom end performance for the money it makes way more HP! sent from my rooted Evo cm7 |
it looks like the holset is setup for the cummins but those turbos in the links aren't vgt's right? so im confused. i dont like the idea of propane or nitrous. water/meth is as far as i'll go. see i wanna be able to still drive this truck lol not sit at the light and wait til its spooled and the light's already yellow. thats where vgt technology comes into mind for me. i cant be shootin propane at every light. just not practical. and for right now i need to stay on budget with a single turbo.

Ya the holsets are for the cummins.. I've heard of people putting 6.0 vgt's on 7.3's I think.
What do you mean "those turbos in the links aren't vgt's right"? |

Re: VGT
Get a turbo that matches your injectors and you wont have to worry about lag or messing with a vgt setup.
|
160 cc, nozzles flow 80% over stock. ok say a turbo for that but then how long are we talkin to spool
|
Re: VGT
Run them with a stock turbo you would be fine. Or a D66 and you should have next to nothing for lag.
|
got a link to a d66? and really? that's considered stage 2. at least by that site
|
Re: VGT
A 160cc single shot with stock nozzles is a stage one. A 160cc single shot with larger nozzles is a stage two. Look at beans site for the D66. Im on my phone and can't get the link for you.

ooh i like it. it seems like a good match for those. any idea on spool time?
