DP Tuner?
 

I am looking at gettin a DP Tuner f5 for my 96 powerstroke 5sp. I have looked at all the other chips, so I don't want to hear "go look at this chip on this website", cuz i prolly already have. I want to hear from those guys that have or had a dp tuner, what they think about it, and what are some of ur favorite tunes? thanx

Some like it, some don't...

I will give you the facts, If you get an F5, your stuck with DP tunes. If you go to somewhere like Beans, Swamps, TW, PHP, Elite, Gearhead....etc, you will get a TS style chip and you will be able to switch tuners without having to get a whole new chip.

I have DPTunes on my truck. I absolutely love them. Great tunes, my fav tunes are my Higher HP ones, i drive in 100hp tune all the time. there are pro and cons to DP chips and TS Chips, but if you thought about all of them and decided on DPTuner, then u cant go wrong. Jody has been doing a lot of work on his tunes and they are great.

I had a DP chip... Stayed on my truck for about 30k... When the motor came out, the chip did too.

I now run a TS type chip with Swamps tunes, and a TS chip with Elite tunes...

I much prefer the TS blanks as it gives you options of other tuners.

I have run about every tuner out there in the last 8 years.

Thanx for the info, The reason im not worried, is because with the tunes im getting, i am sure i won't want to get them changed
