Front Cover 7.3 powerstroke
A friend of mine told me that the front cover on the motor of my late 94 powerstroke will not accomodate a bigger HPOP , if this is the case does anyone have any ideas of where to get one? I think he said something about the holes on a later cover dont line up with the early motor. Any help is appreciated:c:

Need a little help from a Ford guru. :ok1:

I will check the part numbers Monday, but AFAIK, the HPOP's are the same.
Front cover swaps suck - motor needs to come out to do it. |
I was under the impression that you can run a *17 pump or if you still need more a dual pump or stealth pump

All the pumps for the 7.3 bolt in the same. The 94.5-95.5 years had an anti-drainback pump. The 96 and newer pumps have and extra hole in the back of the hpop pump resevoir. That extra hole is kind of important. It'll run, but will stall out on you. Took me a couple of weeks to figure that out. The icp valve is also different. I plan on running the Adreneline pump from Dieselsite.com. I have stage II injectors and am told it will run them well. Also, you don't have to relocate the fuel filter bowl like you do for some of the others. That site also has what they call "The Pulse", which is more of a big oil pump. Hope this helps.:ok1:

i believe you have nothing to worry about. my personal friend owner of Terminator Engineering. hpop system runs his kit on his 95, no problems
you will be just fine. talk to joey at TE, you'll love his system. |
