140 volt mod.
Hey guys, thinking of doing the 140 volt mod, but my truck has the stock down pipe and worried about EGT's since I dont have a gauge.
Would the mod make that much of a difference in the EGT's and should I wait until I do the down pipe upgrade? |
won't change the egts, no need to worry about the egts with stock injectors because they will not flow enough fuel to cause egt problems and OBS trucks have a large exhaust housing
|
I went ahead and did the 140 this past week. Don't plan on really using her until after I get the 3" DP installed anyways. I figured it would be ok. It doesn't introduce that much more fuel. Seems a little more responsive now, but still have the up pipe leak to fix and waiting on the 3"
Thanks for the input Power. |

What is the 140 mod?

Go ahead and look at the link honda. You have to be pretty good with a soldering iron because the resister is very small.
