Keep in mind when doing the timing - its also a very good time to tab your Killer Dowel Pin (KDP), since you have the timing cover off already.

Also stock timing on 2nd gen 12V's should be around 11-12 deg if I'm not mistaken. Also remember head studs are a good idea for anything over 16deg. due to more pressure in the head caused by more timing. ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Snap-on's website agrees with my previous statement. The kit from them is 255.65US and that does NOT come with the barring tool, which is not needed but very convenient to have. |
