your going to have to get the specs from ford or do some serious internet searching. I reccomend you dont let your buddy touch your truck :scare2: There is a specific procedure, Im sure when timing 7.3 Engine. I never did one, only in heady duty engines.

lol yea. thanks. i tried puttin it on top dead and puttin the dot on injector pump pully facing straight down and it will start with some ether and has no power whats so ever..
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- there is two holes on my timing tab which one is tdc |
to get it timed right a good shop is going to have to do it.

If you are some what mechanically inclined it shouldnt be too hard. You need some really good specs and pics lol!! Try ordering a service manual or Chilton on demand. :tu:

to get it times static, yea u can do it. line up the marks on all the gears then line up dashes on IP and IP mount. that will get it running. wont be correct, but will be close enough to get it to a shop to get timing set correctly.
