Default H&S Tuner / Hot Damn 175 Tune Engin Noise

I have a 2011 6.7 with a H&S XRT Pro Tuned to Hot, all delets dun with just replacement pipe turbo back, S&B cold air, Silncer ring cut out of turbo.
At normal driving the truck runs great but when I really put my foot in it, it hesatates and makes a weird noise and vibration for a few seconds and then rolls smoke out and runs like crazy. Just wondering what that vibration and noise could be. And Is it a bad thing to run the truck on Hot all the time. Any thoughts would be great!

I'm gonna bet a G56??? And yeah I'd say its not good on a basically stock truck. I turned my Smarty to a 70hp tune for a day and slipped my clutch a few times. Never again

Not sure.. I will have to look tomorrow. Its a 6 speed auto I know that. It also has dun it before with a heavy load on trying to go up a hill. I will play with it some tomorrow and see if it is building speed or RPM while making the noise.

Okay. The G56 is the 6 speed manual. But it sounds like it's doing what mine did when the clutch would slip

The vibration might be from converter shudder...not good for trans life.

(do you have any gauges? wonder what your egts are with hot damn tuning....)

I have been told by several times that it is converter shutter. Is there any thing I can do besides turning the tuner down to fix this?

keeping it in lower gears by paddle shifting down help alot. keep your rpm up. if you let the converter do that very much it will be toast. as soon as i feel mine do that i let out of it.
