cold weather delete troubles

I did the deletes on my rig last summer and am very happy with the results, but I found a problem this winter. when it is real cold and the truck has set for a day or so when I start it I get a high boost reading ( at an idle) and it throws a engine light - manafold pressure. I'm thinking without the egr dumping warm air into the intake the sensor for the boost reading must be whack. I have to drive quite away's with the engine temp up. shut off truck and restart before things get right again. Truck is real jerkey and suruges bad while engine light is on and boost reading is all screwey. Just wondering if anyone else has had these problems & if there is a fix for it. Thanks

i recommend a webasto heater my freind ,,i have all deletes done evan grid heater and have been in -38*c,,and i let the webasto do its thing and the truck sits warm at a 159*f,inside and out,,and the engines rolls over like a dream...jmo

did you take out the flap deal, plate whatever ya call it, in the intake? maybe is that my problem?

I got a fancy aluniman part to do away with that whole deal. but when I unhooked the wire to that servo deal it threw a engine light. So I just removed the plate.......
