rims and tires

I'm picking up an H.O. in June and was wondering if anyone had pictures of a leveled truck with 20" rims and 33's and also with 35's. Trying to decide what size tire to put on the 20's. Thanks

with my 08 when i first go it i put 20s 35s and leveling kit and it would rub if you turned and there was a bump or something

Just mounted a set of 305/55r20s (33x12.50/20) Nitto terra grappler ATs on my 08 mega cab yesterday, i'll get ya a pic tonight. I have a two inch leveling kit, from hellbent steel at Dodge - Products. The rims are 20x10, i'm not sure what the offset is.

They fill the wheel wells, no rubbing in lvl lot but i'm suspicious about it under compression.

295/20s (35") and yes, with the control arm eccentrics full forward it does rub on the rear corner of the fender flare just a tad under turning compression. I plan to install Thuren arms and 3" coils at some point to alleviate that problem and beef the front end up bit more soon as the original springs and arms start to go:

For clarity:

295/65 20 should be what he has and that would be 35x11.50 20s if that helps laramie

295 width of tire in mm
65= aspect ratio or 65% of 295mm = side wall height of 191.75 mm x 2 (one on each side of wheel) 191.75mm x 2 = 383.5mm
20= wheel diameter in inches
383.5mm / 25.4mm (number of milimeters per inch) = 15 inches + 20 for wheel = 35 total height of tire or diameter

width is roughtly 11.50
295mm / 25.4mm = 11.61 inches

This is the best tool i have found, you can compare two diffrent tires and see what they would be in inches.

Yeah, forgot the aspect, actually 60, so 295/60-20. They were supposed to measure diameter at 34.8" new, IIRC. They did not rub until after I put the fender flares on. 35" is going to be right around the max you can go with a stock backspaced wheel. It's a good idea to get the longer arms to keep the rest of the front suspension properly dimensioned, even with just 2" lift. You may not be able to get it lined up depending on the ball joints and the shop doing it.

Thanks for the tips. If anyone has pics that would be greatly appreciated!
