Any body know of any boxes out for the 6.7?

Yeap, I think that the Edge is still in Beta testing as well.

although I think the programmers you guys are talkin about were for the Cab and Chassis 6.7 as for the pickups i dont think anybody has one out yet

Wow, and there was all that talk about taking forever to get a boxes to outsmart these new computers, these companies are smarter than we thought. Tell you this much, it takes some serious cajones to be a beta tester on these boxes, pretty sure once you hook em up ur factory warranty book can be thrown away, from what ive heard anyway.

I run a number of the 6.7's and am going to drag up the rear of the line before installing a programmer on any of these new engines. It is not that the programmers will or will not work, but I have had some pretty serious piston failures that appear to be from uneven cylinder heating and piston expansion in just normal (for us) use.

Do not misread me, I am not saying there is a universal problem with the Siamese cylinders, but I suspect it is something that better be in the thought process to be absolutely certain one of these new baby's is fully and evenly warmed before nailing the throttle with any fuel enhancements.

If I were to develop a fueling enhancement for these new engines it would have a red and green light for the driver, and a temperature cut-out that kept it from kicking in before the engine was up to 210 degrees F. Just so I knew that I had full piston sealing before the loading and fun began.

Bully Dog has one out, and last I heard they proved real impressive numbers, then blew the DPF....Major bucks! This is rumor, but I have heard it from a reliable source!

I agree with Oregonpharmer from what little I’ve heard about this engine it may be a good idea to wait until the dust settles before someone pumps up the power on this engine up and it goes Boom  :w:
