finally bobmbing need advice

wondering if i can put the egt probe in the blockoff plate for the egr delete or does it need to go in the manifold ?

I'd try to get it as close to the center of the manifold as I could

How come? I would be more inclined to put it toward 1 or 6 since they seem to get the hottest.

we are putting the exhaust probe in the back cooler plate and the boost in the egr alum plate. seems to be very close to my juice monitor. :tu:

do you get pretty accurate readings with them in the plates

yeah i test drove one we done some time back. egts were very close to mine. boost was a little higher but i think that was because he has 4.10 gears and mine are 3.73. egts were high 700s going down the road which is what mine says at 70 mph. i found this out by a customer that had his like this. i thought to myself that cant be right but it is. we have done prob 10 trucks like this.:tu:
