so im not sure if this is anything to be worried about but today i noticed some coolent under my truck so i checked it out and it was coming from the resevor cap where you fill it but my question is is could i have just hit a bump hard enough to shake it up and slop some out or could it mean somthing else and im not running my truck hard right now just back and forth to college witch is like 5 miles down the road has anyone else had this happen? any info would be good thanks

right next to the cap there is an overflow port, that is were it was probably coming from, most the time when this happens it it signs of your head gasket going. Keep a good eye on the overflow bottle, and see what the level does, if it is gaining and pushing coolant out, then you might have a blown gasket, also after you drive the truck, pop the hood and see if there is any bubbling in the tank. Just keep an eye on it, and post up more results and we can help you out better.

Cool - that's so much cheaper than a head gasket... :up2:
