Throttle Valve delete

Im looking to delete the throttle valve..how hard is this to do?

RSD has a throttle valve delete that looks like it just bolts on, for 75 bucks i think

will an after market intake horn get rid of this throttle valve?

Bob Wagner 10-26-2010 12:11 PM

simply unplug the throttle valve, nothing to buy

intake horn

Some horns do some don't. If you look at a picture of the horn and it has bolt holes, it needs a throttle valve or throttle valve delete kit bolted to it. no holes = connect tube from intercooler.

We just replace the TV assembly with a tube... just gets one more POS out of the way. :tu:

Can't you just take the butterfly flap off the shaft?

Yes you can. That's what I did to mine. There is just 2 little screws holding it in place.

Here's the Delete write up. It will show you the screws I'm talking about.
