6.7 Edge/Smarty Stack

Well I just wanted opinions on this stack.
Is it better to use the edge for timing and the smarty's fueling? Or is it better to use the edges fueling with the smarty's fueling and timing? I'm getting my southbend DD in tuesday. It should be in by Wed. I'm planning to make some horseys here very soon.
Any feedback is much appreciated.

smarty alone could probably supply what you're looking for, but the edge/smarty stack can't be to bad, use the smarty's fueling and the edge's timing/pressure

I secound BobCat's comment that the Smarty alone is likely good enough.

I recently bought the Jr model and have been pleased with the results. I'm running the performance/+100 hp level and its night/day difference.

I was also surprised to read in the owners manual that the Jr model has optional adjustments for timing and torque. I previously thought these options were only available with the Sr.

Good luck with your decision.

smarty

I got my southbend in the other day. I broke it in, and turned my smarty on 170 w/ added timing and cranked everything on four except rail pressure. I wasnt suprised as I thought I would have been. Is this just me or could something be wrong? Also I just read today that with running the ME software, the EGR also needs to be removed. I did not know this as I only thought it turned the DPF off. Could this also be hurting my performance? Thanks
