DPF & EGR Stealth Removal Theory Questions

2010 with a warranty and enough power for me. Looking for mileage, dependability, and warranty retension. Unfortunately the truck is 90% around town and 10% pulling a trailer down the highway.

EGR
Will slipping a couple of plates in at the EGR motor to intake manifold connection take care of it code free? Will sheet aluminum work for plates or do I need to use steel?

DFP
My theory is that the exhaust pressure difference fore and aft of the filter must trigger the regen (maybe?) If that is the case would just punching out the DPF guts (fore and aft pressure nearly equal) eliminate it and remain code free?

There no way to get milage without removing the dpf and knocking the guts out of the DPF will not be a code free soulution your truck will try to regen then it will go into constant regen. Which will cost you a couple thousand dollars more than likely. And you will not have a warranty because you messed with the dpf. You cannot block off the egr and keep it code free either your need software to take care of the codes. You can unplug the egr and have a check engine light on at all time but the egr will not operate. If you want to gain mileage and everything is get a dpf/egr delete tuner like an H&S performance tuner and a dpf delete pipe which just replaces the dpf with a section of pipe with no cutting or welding required. And if you have to take it into warranty just reprogram the truck back to stock, put the dpf back in place and take it in for warranty. The H&S performance tuner take care of all of the dpf codes when you delete the dpf. They also turn the egr of so you dont need blocker plates. They also make a egr delete kit which removes the whole egr system from the truck which is nice and makes the truck look like 5.9 again
