Cummins 6.7 deleting

Hey all, my name is Brian and im new to this sight so thanks in advance for any help! I recently just bought a 2008 Dodge 2500, 4 door shortbed, 6-speed, 6.7 Cummins and was wanting to do some deleting (EGR, 4in turbo back straight pipe, coldair intake, and a Smarty S-67) just wanting to hear stories of guys who have done this and the problems they may have incountered! Thanks for your time, Brian.

Hello Brian and welcome to Diesel bombers. I deleted every thing at 1200 miles and have not looked back since I love my more and more everyday as far as the 4in turbo back I'd go 5" just because they are around the same price. Once you delete your emissions your truck will run so much better than it does now and your mileage should go up a good bit too. anyhow my story is there was nothing bad on my emissions delete only thing you have to do is be sure to burp the coolant system when and if you delete the egr cooler

I would consider looking into the blackmaxx, they have a lot more options then the smartys do, the black maxx comes with built in guages, will have a tcm tune that you can get with it, it is adjustable on the fly with out any changes, they will have the option to add a water meth or nitrous kit in the future, and run it off the black maxx, they really is not a programmer out there that can do as many things as a blackmaxx and there tuning is awsome, and seems only a few running a blackmaxx have blown a head gasket compared to a ton of the smarty guys that have, and I would also step up to 5" its almost cheaper to get 5" then it is 4"

keep whichever tuner you buy tuned arround 60hp or less, or you will need a clutch as well

i have a smarty JR, ebay dpf delete, ebay egr delete an smoked the clutch with the 60hp tund and torque turned up...

i did just get my sdd3250 clutch installed and turned the smarty up to 100hp/timing 2/torque 3

unbelievable power
